Serafin
Suite
This spacious suite has a view of the lovely fountain in the courtyard.
It has a queen size bed and a sitting area with a sofa that is actually
a double bed that is partially recessed into an alcove in the very thick
wall and can be pulled all the way out at night, if necessary, for extra
sleeping space. This suite features the hand carved wooden piece framing
the niches containing various saints. It is from a private chapel of a demolished
hacienda in the Guanajuato area and is filled with antique, Mexican hand carved, wooden statues of saints. The Victorian Dresser is circa 1900. On the wall to the right of the large window hangs an oil painting of Principe Leopoldo d´Medici, circa 1560, in it´s original frame. This original work of art was copied from the Medici´s family portrait of Leopoldo, which hangs in the U´ffizi Gallery in Florence Italy. |
