Hacienda San Angel Tempts Taste Buds During Restaurant Week, May 15 - June 10

Foodies, prepare your palate...Puerto Vallarta’s leading culinary event, Restaurant Week, has returned! In what will be the city’s longest-running Restaurant Week since its inception in 2005, extending 10 more days than previous years, as well as the largest incarnation with 59 participating restaurants, this year’s epicurean extravaganza is sure to be the best yet.

Hacienda San Angel’s Gourmet and La Cappella are participating in the event with decadent dishes that are sure to satiate gourmands from around the globe. And, at a fraction of the normal price, it’s a culinary celebration not to be missed!

The three-course, prix fixe menu at Gourmet includes:

APPETIZERS & SALAD

Gazpacho de Sandía y Pepino | Watermelon and Cucumber Gazpacho

Ensalada de arúgula y mozzarella | Arugula and Mozzarella Salad

Champiñón blanco, arándanos deshidratados, nuez de Castilla y vinagreta de trufa blanca | Mushrooms, dehydrated blueberries, Castilian nut, and a white Truffle vinaigrette

Ostiones gratinados | Oysters Au Gratin

 

MAIN COURSES 

Sea Bass

Sellado al vino blanco, con puré de camote | Seared in white wine, served with sweet potato puree, with orange butter and beet reduction

Barbecue Short Rib

Glaseado con BBQ de tamarindo y chile piquín con puré de chicharos | Glazed with tamarin and chile piquin BBQ with pureed peas

Lemon Pappardelle

Pasta fresca salteada en mantequilla de limón y vino blanco con arúgula | Fresh pasta sautéed in lemon butter and white wine with arúgula

 

DESSERT

Corn Cake

Envuelto en merengue italiano flameado con salsa de vainilla | Wrapped in Italian merengue, flamed with vanilla sauce

Frozen Chocolate Mousse

Relleno de frutos del bosque | Stuffed with berries

Ensalada Mediterranea | Mediterranean Salad

Lechuga italiana, queso feta, pimientos rostizados y vinagreta de limón | Served with Italian lettuce, feta cheese, roasted peppers and lemon vinaigrette

Pizza de Almejas | Clam Pizza

Pimientos rostizados, almeja baby, salsa de tomate y queso mozzarella | Served with roasted peppers, baby clams, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese

Medallónes de Res | Beef Medallions

Con ejotes y papas baby rostizadas al romero y salsa Bordelesa | Served with bordelaise sauce, baby green beans and roasted potatoes with rosemary

Risotto

Con satas, esparragos, tomate desidratado y quesoparmesano | Creamy with mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and parmesan cheese
