San Miguel

This suite has a king size bed and panoramic views of the town and bay. You may also enjoy the sitting area just outside the bedroom with its own Jacuzzi and large terrace where you can relax and enjoy the spectacular view. Above the bed is a 1920s copy of the famous Monja Coronada from the main cathedral in Guadalajara. The large mirror next to the Victorian chair has a lovingly hand-carved frame from a cathedral, circa 1860. At the foot of the bed there is a Mexican baúl of mesquite wood, circa 1800, and the television is in a Mexican armoire, circa 1900.

Celestial

This large suite with queen size bed has a fabulous view and includes a private sitting area under a large palapa with its own bar. The full image Mexican painting of the Immaculate Virgin is circa 1880 and is in the original frame. Hanging in a corner is a gold leafed wooden Venetian chandelier with candles, circa 1850. The piece of furniture used as a nightstand to the right of the bed next to the bathroom door was originally owned by Luther Burbank.

 
Rincon de Angeles

This large suite has a king bed, two balconies, a private terrace and great ocean and city views. As you go through the arched opening of the private passage way to the room there is a Peruvian painting of San Miguel, circa 1910. Inside the suite to the right is a large armoire which is English, circa 1900. The full image Mexican painting is of Nuestra Señora Del Rosario or Our Lady of the Rosary. She was the patron saint of the Franciscan Missions in the Americas. As you can note she is depicted with the Christ Child holding a ship. It is seventeenth-century and is signed "Arellano". On the night stand to the left of the bed is a small dressed, hand carved Mexican statue of the Virgin Purísima. It has a polychrome finish, circa 1780. On the wall at either side of the bed are English nineteenth-century wall sconces.

   
Casa Campanas

This one bedroom villa with its close-up view of the cathedral and Banderas Bay features a king-sized bed, salon, dining room, kitchenette and several terraces, one cradling a private hot tub. The exquisite nineteenth-century antiques include a rectory table, carousel camel and a Mexican trunk, as well as Persian carpets, wall sconces and crystal chandeliers. This suite offers complete privacy.

   
Las Cruces

This beautifully decorated and spacious suite with its lovely nineteenth-century antiques has a view of the cathedral and ocean from one of its two private balconies.  The second balcony overlooks the bubbling fountain in the courtyard below.  It features a king bed and its large bathroom has a claw foot bathtub as well as a shower.

   
  Fuente de Milagros

This charming suite opens up to a spacious private terrace that looks out to expansive views of the Bay as well as the historic cathedral.  It is named for the fountain’s hand carved stone statue of the Virgin de Talpa located in its small patio area.  She is renowned for granting miracles to her devotees. 

Among the antiques is a nineteenth century bed.  The king size bed was created by using the footboard to extend the width of the headboard.  The bathroom sink was installed in a nineteenth century dresser graced on each side by antique wall sconces.  The armoire and crystal chandelier in the dressing area are also nineteenth century.

   
 

El Paraiso

This attractive suite has comfortable seating on its extra spacious terrace for sun bathing or dining al fresco.  It has stunning panoramic views of the Bay as well as a close-up view of the historic cathedral.  A nineteenth century resplandor hangs above the king bed which is adorned on either side by nineteenth century crystal sconces. Antiques include a Mexican painting of San Jose with Child dated 1870.  Both armoires are hand carved by a local artisan.  You will pass through columned arches to enter the spacious shower softly lit by two crystal chandeliers.

Angel's View

This commodious suite with king size bed features garden and ocean views and a small outside terrace with a table for dining. The Mexican painting of Our Señora de Refugio is circa 1840. In the bathroom hangs a nineteenth-century Mexican oil painting of San Francisco de Paula. It is probably from the Zacatecas area.

 
Vista de Santos

This suite with king bed has beautiful ocean views. The huge terrace which is shared with another suite also has spectacular ocean and city views. The large armoire is French, circa 1900, and the chair is Spanish, circa 1890. On the wall is a Mexican painting of the “Sagrado Corazon de Maria”, circa 1830.

 
San Jose

This suite with king bed has panoramic ocean and city views. It has a large window seat with lovely views which are also visible from the bed. The small armoire to your right as you enter is Mexican, circa 1900. On the wall to the left of the bed is a painting of San Jose with Christ Child, circa 1750, during Mexico’s Colonial period. The white dove in the background represents the Holy Spirit. The sink in the bathroom was installed in a century old Mexican dresser with the original marble top.

   
  La Sacristia

This suite features two private terraces with panoramic views of the city and bay, one of which is accessed by a lovely wrought iron spiral staircase. This ample suite has a king bed and, in the bathroom, antique marble columns form the middle arch of the beautiful Italian marble bathtub and shower.

 
  Santa Maria

This beautiful two bedroom suite has ocean views and a close-up view of the historic cathedral.  It is furnished with nineteenth century antiques as well as original one-of-a-kind hand carved pieces from both European and local artisans. Antiques include a painting on the wall to the left of the king bed.  This painting was done on tin and represents San Jose with Christ Child.  It is in an antique frame circa 1800. The armoire in that bathroom is an early 1900’s piece.  It is where the priest’s robes were kept. As you enter the smaller bedroom with queen bed there is a nineteenth century painting of La Guadalupana.  Across the room is a painting of Santo Niño in an original nineteenth century frame.  Sitting on the floor next to it is an original Ballantine carousel horse circa 1940. In the bathroom is a Peruvian painting of San Jose with Christ Child in its original hand carved frame and was found in Pueblo in 1960.

   
  La Guadalupana
This lovely and spacious suite with king bed and ocean views is named not only for the historic Cathedral of Guadalupe which is across the street but also for the beautiful wooden carving in the bathroom of La Guadalupana depicting the four times she appeared before the peasant Juan Diego in the early 1500’s.  The armoire in the bathroom is a nineteenth century piece and the bathroom sink has been installed in a dresser from the early 1900s.  In the bedroom you will find a large eighteen century painting of San Francisco de Asis.

  Serafin

This spacious suite has a view of the lovely fountain in the courtyard. It has a queen size bed and a sitting area with a sofa that is actually a double bed, partially recessed into an alcove in the very thick wall.  It can be pulled all the way out at night, if necessary, for extra sleeping space. This suite features a hand carved wooden piece framing the niches containing various saints. It is from a private chapel of a demolished hacienda in the Guanajuato area and is filled with antique, Mexican hand carved, wooden statues of saints. The Victorian dresser is circa 1900. On the wall to the right of the large window hangs an oil painting of Principe Leopoldo d´Medici, circa 1560, in its original frame. This original work of art was copied from the Medici’s family portrait of Leopoldo, which hangs in the U´ffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy.

 
Crown View

This lovely suite has a queen size bed and a view of the Crown of the Cathedral of Guadalupe.  And, you can view Puerto Vallarta's spectacular sunsets from your large private balcony. On the wall that faces the bed is an eighteenth-century painting of the Virgin Mary. This painting represents the moment of the Immaculate Conception. The Archangel San Gabriel in the painting is the Messenger of God and the dove represents the Holy Spirit. The Renaissance Revival armoire is circa 1880. Above the bed is a French crystal wall sconce, circa 1890.

 
Angel's Dome

This beautiful suite has a dome over the queen size bed and another over the bathroom. The ceiling in between is painted with angels and doves. It has a city and partial ocean view from the bed and from the private balcony. This suite features a lovely Mexican oil painting of Mary with Christ Child, circa 1750. Next to it is a Victorian armoire, circa 1880. On the other side of the armoire is a Chinese “Temple Guardian with Gong”. The second armoire, which houses the television, is an early 1900´s piece where priest’s robes were once kept.

 
Milagro

This ample suite with king size bed has direct access to a terrace with panoramic views. The painting above the bed is of San Francisco de Paula. It is Mexican and was done in the second half of the nineteenth-century. In the niches are two French bronze busts, circa 1870. The Encino wood chair sitting between the niches is a nineteenth-century confessional from a French cathedral. The Mexican nineteenth-century tapestry covered with Milagros depicts the Ascension of Christ.

 
Garden of Angels

This suite has a king size bed and lovely garden views. It is on the same level as the swimming pool with its broad vistas of the town and Bay of Banderas. The nude sketch in the bathroom of this suite is by famed Mexican artist Ernest Munoz Acosta, circa 1965, and was exhibited at the Palais Royale in Paris.

 
San Gabriel

This spacious suite has two double beds. It is just off the pool area and has garden and pool views. The large bathroom has both a claw foot bathtub and an open shower. The nineteenth-century niche to the left as you enter is from a church in Vietnam. It was salvaged at the end of the war when all of the churches were being looted. Inside the niche is a wooden Mexican sculpture of the Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus holding a dove.  It has a polychrome finish, circa 1800. The two paintings over the bed are newer, circa 1940. The one holding the Christ Child depicts the Virgin de la Candelaria and the other is the Virgin de la Macarena. They are Mexican devotional paintings that were prayed to and, as folklore has it, many miracles have been attributed to them. The large chair with angel carvings is Spanish, circa 1890, and inside the bathroom there is a painting done on tin representing the Virgin and Child. It is circa 1800 and is in an antique frame.

 

Reservations and Cancellations

General:

  • All rates are per room, and are subject to 18% tax (16% VAT & 2% bed tax) and 5% service fee.
  • Maximum two persons per room.
  • Includes deluxe continental breakfast.
  • 3 night minimum (Low season & High season); 7-night minimum (holiday ). Individual nights and shorter stays may be available upon request, based on occupancy, so please ask.
  • Not suitable for children.
  • Rates subject to change without notice.
  • Transportation to/from airport may be arranged, for an extra charge.
  • Holiday rates are not commissionable.

Deposit and cancellation policy:

  • Payments may be made by credit card; Cashier's Check, via express mail to Mexico; or by bank wire transfer to our US account.
  • Reservations may be paid by credit card upon arrival. However, there is a 10% surcharge. Please note that reservations may be secured via major credit card and then paid with cash or traveler's check upon arrival and will not be subject to the surcharge.
  • Cancellations are not possible without incurring a charge.
  • There is one night cancellation fee.
  • In case of cancellation made 45 days or less prior to arrival the entire amount will be due, unless we are able to re-rent the space.
  • No credits for late arrivals or early departures.

Holiday Deposit & Cancellation policy:

  • 50% of stay deposit due at time of booking.
  • Full payment is due 90 days prior to arrival.
  • All deposits & payments for Holiday are non refundable.
  • Full stay is non-refundable for no-shows.
  • No credits for late arrivals or early departures.
