DAY ONE: Live an adventure like no other! Take a boat to your ATV, then ride to the heart of the Sierra Madres, and hop on a mule to climb the mountainside to your zip line that will travel from 1000 to 200 feet above the treetops. Descend through the steep rocky walls and suspended platforms until you reach natural pools and take a refreshing dip to end your day.

DAY TWO: You will be taken to the village, Boca de Tomatlan, where you catch a water taxi to an exclusive and secluded beach. A restorative day of being pampered as you enjoy all you can eat and drink in peaceful tranquility.

*Day of Adventure: for safety reasons expectant mothers, persons with back or neck, heart, balance, or/and dizziness conditions are restricted. Long shorts or pants, a t-shirt, and comfortable closed-toed shoes are recommended. Please bring a change of clothes and shoes (you will get wet) so that you can change before returning to Vallarta. You’ll be able to store the dry clothes in a locker at the base camp.

My sister was in town for a week of birthday celebrating. I wanted to spoil her so on one of the evenings I reserved a table at Hacienda San Angel. I’m here to tell you we had an evening that was as close to PERFECT as one can get. A beautiful hacienda, its spectacular candle lite entrance, A DELICIOUS dinner, (the jalapeno cream and black bean soup is so incredibly delicious, so were both the scallops, and the grilled vegetable plate ) exceptional service from our server, Fernando, and a wonderful mariachi band that performed for much of the evening. All of that put together landed us A PERFECT and REALLY SPECIAL birthday celebration. If you’re wanting a really special evening Hacienda San Angel delivers that.

Old world boutique hotel with renaissance gardens, charming patios, quaint bells and excellent service. Every single thing, from the candles on the walkway to the appointments in the room were carefully considered and artfully executed. Grace took care of our Covid tests for customs, Marvin took care of our luggage and cocktails around the pool upon arrival, and Jesus with numerous coffee and ice water requests the following morning at breakfast. The sheets are silky soft cotton, the pillows a perfect choice of soft/firm, the bath towels are luscious bath sheets, the pool water a perfect temperature to luxuriate, the pool towels a separate style and plentiful, the fruit at breakfast so very fresh, the croissants warm and buttery, the coffee superb. We didn’t want to ever leave.

I celebrated my birthday at Hacienda San Angel, and I couldn’t have enjoyed myself more. This classically beautiful property is quintessential romantic Puerto Vallarta. Everything from the linens to the candle-lit walkways, to the delicious room service breakfast offers guests quality, charm, and serenity. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, which makes all the difference. i can’t wait to return!

This is the most charming, historic and beautiful hotel. The service and staff are incredible and so very kind during our stay. We had their continental breakfast delivered to our patio each morning and watched the sunrise. The room has a full wall of beautiful French doors that open onto the patio. Every room is unique, we stayed in Angels View suite which was immaculate in decor and taste. Turn down service with chocolates each night. Room was super clean and quite despite being right above the restaurant. I would stay here 100x more if given the opportunity. Location was perfect, walking distance to the Zona Romantica and Malecon each morning. This place is my favorite hotel/B&B to date!

Some friends and I dined here during Restaurant Week and everything was perfection. The hacienda is magical, As beautiful as the photos! It seems as if the hotel is a combination of three old, elegant Puerto Vallarta houses, now w/ Hacienda San Angel Hotel is an amazingly beautiful property. For five wonderful nights, my husband and I stayed in the Celestial Suite. Everything was absolutely perfect ~ view stunning, peaceful breezy palapa deck, top quality bedding & spacious ensuite. The cleaning was outstanding! Appreciated the abundance of storage ~ his and her dressers within a large walk-in closet along with several armoirs. The staff was fabulous in helping with any request. Even arranging a PVR test on our deck. The three pools ~ refreshing and private. Breakfast is delicious and served under our palapa. Highly recommend.

Some friends and I dined here during Restaurant Week and everything was perfection. The hacienda is magical, As beautiful as the photos! It seems as if the hotel is a combination of three old, elegant Puerto Vallarta houses, now w/ gorgeous gardens, patios, and common areas connecting them. Decorated w/ antique Mexican art pieces and garden statuary. It is simply elegant! Best of all, the staff was all so nice and super accommodating .. they could not have been better! I stayed in the top room w/ a king bed overlooking the church and ocean. The bed was scrumptious w/ high-end linens. It was gorgeous… I didn’t leave the hotel for a solid day, enjoying the grounds, the pool, and my terrace. I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner on my patio. The food was excellent! Close to Zona Romantica and of course to all in Central. An elegant stay with warm Mexican hospitality in a most beautiful hotel.
